Text Box: The Bible book of The Acts of the Apostles was not only the actions of the apostles, but the actions of the church established by Christ for the salvation of the world. These Holy Spirit inspired words set forth the example of the first century church for salvation, proper worship, and service. “And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers,” Acts 2:42. The rest of the New Testament perfectly reflects the example set, an example the whole world ought to live by, and the example that we at the Church of Christ strive to follow. We live in a world of so many different ideas about how we can follow God. How about laying them all aside and returning to the Words that God Himself delivered to the world and preserved through-out the centuries? The Holy Bible

“If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
